Dr. Silvia is a hospital management researcher and clinical microbiology specialist with more than 15 years of experience across government-related research, hospital leadership, and applied health services research. She has contributed to national research initiatives in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Health, focusing on antimicrobial resistance, tuberculosis, influenza-like illness, and HIV drug resistance, supporting evidence-informed health policy and system strengthening.
She has held strategic roles in hospital management, including serving as Hospital Director, and currently works as a clinician and microbiology laboratory researcher at Panti Rapih Hospital. Her professional practice centers on infection prevention and control (IPC), antimicrobial stewardship, and the integration of quality improvement within hospital governance.
Dr. Silvia has served as principal investigator for multiple funded research projects and published widely in peer-reviewed journals. With a strong academic background and ongoing training in hospital management, she brings an integrated practitioner–researcher perspective that aligns clinical expertise, research rigor, and managerial insight to support effective and sustainable hospital systems.
